It was sweet because I woke up at Jessie's after staying the night there with Morgan and Jess. We made our own pizzas (which turned out good) and attempted to make sweet potato fries (which turned out not-so-good). We laughed, we indulged in much junk food, and we took a ridiculous number of pictures, most of which featured me looking very silly, to say the least. It was soooo much fun.
Which is why today was also bitter. Because today I came back to school. Yes, I love learning and I am ready to get back to classes and a schedule that does not include eating mass quantities of junk food and staying up till 2am. However, it means another month until Thanksgiving. Another month until I see my friends.
As you can imagine, I was in a rough state after sleeping in this morning. Since all I was doing today was eating dinner with my family and driving back to campus, my outfit was not as glorious as the previous days. Still, I'm pretty pleased with the result:
As noted before, I adore Audrey. Which explains the Andy Warhol-esq Audrey shirt I sported today, casually thrown together with black jeggings, a grey sweater, and cheetah print flats. Cozy and cute; perfect for riding back to Wake, listening to music with my dog laying in my lap (another great part about my weekend: seeing Daisy).
So now I am here, back in my dorm, for another 3 1/2 weeks until Thanksgiving break, feeling a tad homesick but knowing that I'll see my friends again soon and in the meantime I'll be kept busy with schoolwork and other things (like Halloween! and NaNoWriMo!)
